Radiator Blanking

My C5 2.5 TDI with Multitronic in this cold weather is not getting up to normal temperature

what is the best way of blanking off the front of the car without affecting the air con and oil cooling

ive tried just blanking the radiator but this is causing the air con to cycle between off and on

Any practical ideas please

Change the thermostat. Is not easy to access, but is the only real fix.

Indeed, the thermostat should be replaced!

I recently changed the thermostat on my Zafira as it wouldn't heat up and the seal was leaking, it then went to the other extreme and jammed shut shortly after and cooked the engine, luckily £12 later and another new stat it's fine again.

I wouldn't like to put a figure on the cost of repairing an Audi if the same occured!

Another question: are the undertrays still fitted to the car?
