Hello there every1. This is Gna be a long 1. Plz be patient with my long essay.

Have recently purchased a vw cc 2012 diesel 2.0 140bhp. It's got 33000 on the clock. Moved from a Nissan note 1.6 petrol.

The cc has a dsg gearbox. It has plenty but need some specific questions answering. As moving from petrol to diesel can not believe how quick a diesel is of the line.

It has folding mirrors. They have to be folded by the knob which adjust the mirrors.
    (1. Anyway can this be done so they automatically fold in and out when I unlock the car? )

I have an upgraded stereo from the rns 315 to rns 510. The rns 510 is bigger screen wise. I have been able to read up on here and establish the software version it's on. It's sw 3970 and the map version hdd is 7690. The hardware is h61 and the delivery part number is 1T0035680H. Took a trip to Birmingham yesterday and so many times it decided to take me wrong way and when coming back on the a453 into Nottingham I was not even driving on the map somehow. (2. is there anyway to upgrade this my self or is it a main dealer job?)

I have the optional 225/35r 19 inch lugano wheels on conti sport 3. I have normally used hankook or toyo or yokohama. (3. What is normally recommended brand wise and are the above makes good for the vehicle?)

The car is going in for a dsg gearbox service Tuesday at the main dealers. (4. Anything I should do before?)

As the car has done 33000 miles. And the car being 2012.(5. Is the cambelt and water pump due?)

As the winter sets in I know diesel might struggle to start. (6.Is it worth doing a drop test on the battery to establish the strength of the battery as it's a bit on the struggle in the mornings then again might be me From petrol to diesel?)

Every1 knows about diesel additives. As I do regular short journeys but give a blast every so often on the motorway. (7. Do any of them work or is it best sticking in better shell fuel)

The dpf on modern cars.(8. How will I know it is burning the soot off and is there a way to getting it doing the process?)

I suspect some1 has had the vag com on the vehicle In the past due to the dials sweeping and the xenons dance before starting up(9. Is this normal or has some one tweeted around)

Led lights in the vehicle. (10. Where can I get some decent interior W5w led lights as Iv heard u can get an error msg on the dash)

I love the car it sits lovely in gun metal grey and the 19s.

Alot of questions. Looking forward from every1s answer and maybe new discussions starting from this.

Thanx in advance for every1s help

    Thanx
