    Hello All,

I have a broken driver side rear number plate light lense and I am thinking of upgrading to some of the led type ones I have seen on eBay.

I know there are some issues with canbus errors with this sort of thing and I'm wondering if anyone else has had any experience with this I'm a b7 cabriolet ?

The reason I mention about the cabriolet as I don't know if it has its own unique number plate light shape or size ?

I need 2 rear number plate lights for an Audi A4 b7 Cabriolet.

Will a4 saloon lights fit in a4 cabriolet ?

    Thanks

    Hi,

I've not got a cab, but do have b7 2006 A4. From my research they are all the same fitment, I've got a couple of LED replacements turning up hopefully today in the Post as one of my bulbs has gone, I'll let you know how it goes.

So my LED replacements arrived and they look good, fitting was easy (well slightly less easy for me because of my number plate holder) single screw to undo and the units have a lip on the opposite side to the screw to hold them in.

Swapped them over and tested, no errors on the dash at all, I've driven for about 2hours and they have worked flawlessly.

I've attached a couple of pics.

If you want the link to the ones I got let me know.

    Paul
