Rear brake fault 2006 A6

Looking a bit of help, changed the rear brake pads and now handbrake isn't working warning lights all over the dash and constant warning tone when driving.

Brake caliper opened ok and pads replaced, caliper closed fine but half way through test it failed with warning lights and beeping, if you drive there's a constant warning tone until you stop.

Could this problem be broken connection in the loom?

What are you using to open/close the caliper motors and what fault codes are stored? The early 4F had very poor parking brake motor wiring plugs, check too see if the plugs have separate or moulded boots. If they are separate plugs and boots, you may have to fit one or even both repair harness sets which have to be let into the main harness in the boot area on the bulkhead. Even then, the controller in the right side panel can play up, disconnecting it for a while can make it STFU!
