Can it fail in such a way that it causes the car to briefly surge while driving, as if the throttle has been increased, then struggle for a short period before recovering. No problems with starting or idling. The garage has had it for for a week and no fault coses show up even while being tested on the move.

Can the TPS be opened up for a visual check?

    Thanks,

    Paul.
