Hi I have a Audi A4 b7 saloon I’m trying to remove my wiper linkage but can’t seem to get it out. Looks like I have to take the ecu box top and bottom out does any one have a clue how to do this. I have taken the top screws plus the bottom nuts off the box. There are wires going through the bottom half of the box that have three connection can I just unplug these or does the battery have to be disconnected any help would be great many thanks

Disconnect the battery and take the key out, that's at least what I did and had no problems afterwards.
TIP: Unplug those connections and put something over that hole where wires go in so no crap falls in there. Then when you remove the lower part of box that's a good time to clean everything around there and underneath vacuum pump. Also check for that lower parts seal, may be a good time to replace it.
