    Hi all,

I've been lurking here for a while now and have finally decided to register and post my first post!

I am in the process of giving my 56 plate A4 b7 2.0TDI Avant some much needed love and I'd like to change the gearbox fluid/filter as I don't know when it was done previously.

My question is where and what fluid should I purchase? My gearbox code is JZT and engine code is BRE. I've seen loads about but I'm confused as to what fluid will suit my gearbox exactly. Is there a filter to this gearbox as when i spoke to audi they would only quote for an oil change and not a oil + filter change as such.

I have access to full workshop facilities as I run a motorcycle repair business along side a car workshop so doing it isnt a problem, its just the oil in question that confuses me... motorcycles generally don't have auto boxes

I'd prefer to use OEM parts/fluid and if i can pick up OEM fluid without the oooo label then even better.

    Thanks very much in advance.
    Damo

Get a quote from Audi or any of the VAG group

Pop into the Audi dealer and speak to the Parts Department. They are usually really helpful and will tell you the updated specs, it changes all the time. They will also tell you how much oil you need

Once you have the Specs of the oil, its up to you what to do
    VW POLO 2002 1.2 12v , Audi A6 2006 2.0 TDi SE , Skoda Fabia 1.4 TDi

All 3 cars in the current fleet
