Hi folks has anyone used a fuel system cleaner / injector cleaner on their diesel cars?
I picked up a can of redex months ago but decided it maybe wasn't a good idea to use it?

I used liqui moly diesel cleaner and I can say that the engine worked a little better with it. No wow but it felt a little difference.

i can vouch for the joys of 2 stroke but dont know about its cleaning powers?
I am considering a good cleaner followed by a tank with 2 stroke to lub back up...

There was a long thread on the 2 stroke oil theory with a reply from the makers of the 2 stroke oil saying its not to be used as a diesel lube, now you have to ask yourself if they thought it would generate extra sales whay they would say dont use it, maybe fear of legal action?
There were also lots of comments of using the right spec 2 stroke oil for cat and dpf models.

Ive tried just about every legit and non legit diesel additive going over many years and have to say not once did I ever notice any difference at all, the cars all landrovers were from various ages.

I put the 2stroke in an afn engine with 200K on the clock, after a mile i thought i stalled it due to the enhanced running. They may not recomend due tor the red die in tax free fuel? Know0 what you mean gaz i am always astounded by cars with soft tyres how do they not know....will get a look at your links when i get home

If you don't want the red dye of Asda and Carlube , use the green Comma or Screw Fix .
