For a while now, my drivers window has been getting less & less reliable. There's no problem opening it, but it's been a pain to close again. Until recently, if I pulled both drivers & passenger window, the driver side would close, but even that's stopped working. Now I have to pull the with up and push the back of the with down, in order to close it.Does this sound like the window switch & is that an easy replacement for a novice?I'd appreciate any input.

I really don’t understand anything you’ve written. Can you describe your problem better?

Try a bit of silicone spray on the frame runners whislt easing the glas up.

You need someone to operate the switch while you do it.

Once the window moves freely then set the memory by pressing and hold the switch ithe up or down (this depnds on where the glass is) for 2 seconds.

Thanks for the replies guys. If I press the back of the switch down, while pulling the front of the button up, the window moves freely, as it should. So I thought it was more to do with the switch itself. If the window raises smoothly, wouldn't that indicate that the runners are OK?
