I have a 2009 facelift with the 3G low. I brought the tune2air off eBay. Itís litrally a simple cable you plug into the back of the head unit. You have to access the green menu and make sure you select AMI on.

Yes I have the same unit on the left with the SD card readers. I havenít got the CD changer. I didnít have the socket for the AMI to plug in the tune2air. Youíll need to by the wiring kit that includes the socket you need. You have to remove the head unit and plug the cables into the back and then activate AMI on your MMI.
Hereís a link to the cables

You need to buy the tune2air too obviously.
Just make sure your into your music as itís quite expensive for all the parts but it works well!

Once youíve installed the AMI socket you can just buy different types of leads you need.
    Aux leads like this.
