RNS 510 Media Options

Hi All

Daughter is looking to purchase a Golf 2010 Match model and it comes with the 6 button media version of the RNS 510 but she wants the 8 button version with the NAV function

Is it basically a straight swap (WIP it out and insert the other) or a little bit more involved than that GPS ect ....

It maybe a straight swap with the original but it will need a new radio code. If its an OEM and not a Chinese clone, you need to go to a dealer with proof of ownership so they can give you the radio code and setup the NAV functions. Or you find someone with VAG-COM\VCDS to set it up.
