    Helloall
I amthinking of buying an AUDI A6 SE T FSI CVT 2008 Avant Estate and have seen one. I was surprised it does not have electric seatsand Bluetooth as I thought it did as standard but having test-driven it I amwrong.
Ithas a cradle for a phone to operate the phone through the onboard MMI system. That won’t be useful as I believe it willonly work with certain older models of phones – probably Nokias and nothingthat I will be using. It also has a sixCD changer in the glovebox. I would preferthat the phone cable and cradle be removed altogether but apparently it is soembedded in the electronics that it is a big/expensive job to remove.
It isessential for me that I have hands free phone available in the car. Can anyone guide me as to whether it should beOK to have a Parrot or Nokia type hands free phone system retro-fitted whichwill work well with the media system over-riding CDs or Radio when taking acall?
I wouldalso be keen to play music or DAB through a phone or MP3 player. Does anyone have any suggestions how this canbe done without spending an absolute fortune?
If thereis an installer in London/South-East that can be recommended to do both jobs –ie rig up for hands free phone and Bluetooth or aux cable or other means toplay music/radio form phone/MP3 player or a DAB -that would be brilliant.
If itwas relevant I was told that the in-car sound option was the “middle” one –there was the basic Audi system, the one installed or the Bose top of the rangeone. The one installed is the “middle”one.
Anyguidance much appreciated and thanks in advance!

You are in a similar situation to me. As far as I can work out, installing something like a Parrot kit isn’t so easy as the MMI uses fibre optic connections.

The best solution is a Fiscon kit. It will integrate fully into your MMI, and give you a bit more than the genuine Audi kit.

I’d recommend VW & Audi Retrofit Parts – Vehicle Electrics – Fault Diagnostics | HappyDayz to support and install. Just click on your vehicle model and it will show you all the goodies you can have for your car. They fitted a couple of things to a previous Passat of mine.
