    Hi guys,
Apologies first as I know I read it somewhere in here but can’t seem to find it again.
It’s time to get the winter wheels on and I remember a post that showed a rubber hockey puck like thing for the jack.
I have found a few and they are sort of shapes and sizes.
Which one have you guys found useful?
    Here’s a few I found

That’s what I used last year😄 it was a little worrying as if it gave or wobbled the sideskirt was gonna take it.
Seen some of these pads that fits perfectly on the trolley jack but they come in all shapes and sizes.
I seem to remember the A6 needs a dome bit on the top and looking under the car today would kinda suggest that unless I take the side skirt covers off which is a bit of a pain(maybe it’s just me)
Just seeing which ones folk on here was using.

I've used hockey pucks, but more recently have been using an all alloy adapter, which is sized and shaped to fit perfectly into the recess of the jacking point in the cill. Have had to replace these before through damage from jacking, but have had no issues since. I have an adapted hockey puck that has been milled down for the BM, but that is starting to disintegrate.

    I like the metal one
Under a tenner is worth it. Sometime I worry about the bit of timber shifting and the jack goes through the skirt or floor

I've had timber split before using the way you describe. This should never wear out, and good for all Audi's, I'm using this on my 2nd car. I have loads of hockey pucks, but this is very secure, nice piece of kit for the car, for the money. Just found a BMW one in alloy, so going to upgrade the rubber one for that.

Just ordered the metal one. Last time I put the summers on I wasn’t happy with the bit of timber especially When the jack was higher up and the wheel needed a bit of persuasion to come off the hub. That includes me putting a bit of copper grease on the hub between changes.
