Had the car for several months and still scratching my head over the matrix headlights and what they are supposed to do.

Even when I have them switched on and the little logo with the headlights and A comes up they don't appear to move or change or do anything compared to a normal head light.

The light they produce is a great colour and gives good visibility but I don't know what else I should be expecting for a grand as an optional extra on the car

Can someone tell me what I should be looking out for when they are operating?

    Cheers

Windy dark country road the cars coming towards you will be in a moving dark spot.

Pretty much useless anywhere there is street lamps in my experience

Should be a very noticable "opening" type pattern when first switched to main, also you should be able to clearly see when approaching a car from behind how the light shuts down on the car so he does not get dazzled, but all around is still on main.
I find that they are very quick at going to dipped for oncoming traffic but still light up the nearside.

The GPS turns the main beam off when you are in built-up areas, so you won't see any difference around town. If you're on a dark country road, they are truly amazing!

    Cheers!

Keeps the verges and right hand side lit when following a car. Added lighting when entering a bend or using fullish lock. Although it appears to dip in built up areas this is not always the case, especially in villages around this area. Sometimes drops to dip when decreasing speed (below 30 mph?).

Forget the England game and go out now. pick a country road where there will be a bit of traffic. Put your lights on full beam.

They will then adjust themselves when necessary to give you the best possible vision at all times.

You will see your beams adjusting to different circumstances whether it be a car in front of you or coming the other way, or entering a built up area.

If you can't, and keep getting flashed, then they 'ain't working!

Yes, I am now converted and a believer !!!

You can see the lights dance around in front of me as the car senses objects and things coming towards it.

Its a bit like one of those pictures that you have to stare at with a hidden picture in it and then suddenly the light goes on ....literally
