My car has been running fine up until this morning when the Mrs went to do the school run.
Tried to start the car and nothing. Doesn't even attempt to turn over. Had a new battery at the beginning of the year so don't think it's that. Had recovery come out and he thinks it's clutch switch or starter motor.
Currently waiting for my brother to come over with a multimeter to check starter motor.
Does anyone have any tips or advice?
is the starter motor a hard swap?
    its a 2.0 tdi 120

    Right, update.
    Starter motor is at fault.
Is there a how to guide on how to change it? It looks quite hard to get to so would appreciate any help.
