    Hi!

I have the 2008 vRS with the 170hp 2.0 TDI with manual shifting. 5-6 times since May the engine has cut out. Every time this has happened it has been when braking and downshifting. Typically when entering roundabouts. The engine cuts out while shifting gears, and I don't even notice it before trying to accelerate. The engine starts with no issue after that, and leaves no fault codes. Any ideas what this might be?

    Thanks!

    -Espen

Check the linkage on the gearbox and check if it is shorting out the starter motor wire
