    Hi all,

Picking up new Q7 on Wednesday. Is there anything in particular I should prepare or remember to check during the handover?

    Thanks!

    Great stuff Mark!

I can’t remember to be honest...

But make sure you get your Audi USB cables for the phone you have - Apple Lightening or Android Micro USB.

Make sure you get the plastic tag on your spare keys as you’ll need the code inside that to register it all up with the MyAudi app.

Other usual checks for any transport dings, scrapes on alloys, corner of bumpers etc

In fairness all the early stuff we looked out should be all sorted so you shouldn’t really have any issues.

    So enjoy the collection day,
Make sure you blag some freebies from dealer

It takes a while, but worth checking all the key functions work. I found my mics didn’t work but was quickly resolved.

If they are cleaning as part of PDI, check for scratches! One of the other guys off the forum collected from the same dealer as me and had to get them to detail it to fix it.

You will love it though. I’ve had mine 17 months now and still enjoy it!

It may be worth checking that the service scheduling on the car is set to your requirements and not to fund the dealership.
    Enjoy your car.

Make sure you get the security code tag you scratch off on the keyfobs for the online services.

Thanks all - dealer called today to say we can pick it up today if we want.... and of course I said yes.

Picked it up this afternoon, and was nervous as hell driving it away. :-) All looks good, got some swag, and got the security code etc. Will get that setup shortly. Thanks all for the advice.

Just took it out for a decent drive. It’s very smooth and quiet, and certainly quick enough. Was previously driving a 12 year old VW Touareg.

Have some questions but will start another thread!
