    HI Guys,
The bonnet on my TDi 170 wont lock close. It takes me ages with the Mrs pulling the release lever in the foot well and me lifting it up and dropping it down. Has anyone had this problem before?
    Cheers

Lift the bonnet and where the bonnet rests on the engine bay so where the catch is spray some wd-40 , let it settle for a minute or two and then try closing it. Normally works for me

Also spray it on the cable and where the catch is and pull the lever by the footwell a few times so the wd-40 sets in and then it should lock shut
