    Hey guys, I am looking for 2 parts in particular and it looks like not a single company in the world makes them for our cars?

    Namely, silicone intake hose to replace our stock ones pictured below;

    Found some for the American petrol modules, but none for TDI (they are not the same).

    Carbon fiber engine cover to replace the one below;

    Anyone know where these parts can be sourced if anywhere? Surprised I couldn't find them myself and I searched all over....

    Question is why do you want to change them?
    Are they broken?

    For the silicon hose you can get them custom made but it’s not cheap. A few companies make these.

    For the engine cover I doubt anyone would make a carbon one. Unlike a r8 where the engine is visible the A6 is all covered up by the bonnet and the v6 tdi is essentially a truck/van engine not a race engine. Race engines you are more likely to find a replacement like light weight carbon fibre. Other option is find someone to wrap it.

    Warp won't sustain that kind of heat, it needs to be real carbon.

    And looks like I will have to go the custom route for both....

    Same thing, that is paint and these TDI engines get very hot. Only real (layered) carbon I think would be sustainable in this case.
