Android Auto strange behavior with incoming call & podcasts

Hi all

still getting to grips with the new toy, but a query on Android Auto.

Finally got the code from Audi, connected up Android Auto to S8+ ( which is just that few mm longer than the wireless charging location)

Smugly listening to New York Times Podcast selected from MMI Android Auto interface and there is an incoming call... but can I heck get it to answer. After a bit of frantic button twiddling I answered the call, but the podcast remained playing
So I had to end the call & do a call back.

Same again later in the day.

Anyone else confused by Android Auto-MMI, or am I misunderstanding something?

S8+ is connected to the car via USB, which is required for Android Auto.

As a side issue, I finally had an excuse on a slip road today to see what the e-tron feels like when combining both engines . It's indecent that 2450Kg can go from 30kph to 130kph so rapidly.
