    Hi

    My A6 Bi TDI saloon 2014 has an annoying noise. More annoying because it's intermittent! When bringing the car to a stop, or parking with lock on, there's a clicky creaking sound that comes from drivers side front wheel. I thought it was the breaks. But it will do it with brakes off and with steering input only. Going down a ramp in a multi storey is certain to bring it on. Driving at speeds is totally fine. It's been into Audi and has had a new ball joint and wheel bearings (both sides for the bearings) under warranty.. to no avail....

    Prior to me buying the car it has new discs and pads all round, all genuine Audi done by the supplying dealer.

    Any thoughts or ideas?

    Possibly a dry bush, maybe even the top mounts. Other thing it could be is the steering rack or related components.
