    hi can anyone shed some light on this one ive an audi a4 b7 2.0 bre 140hp i keep loosing coolant as it keeps boiling over also the coolant is filthy and it stinks ive flushed it through then had the water pump done cambelt etc when the pump was done it was flushed through again with the pump off new coolant now its filthy again after the belt was done i drove to work about 100 miles parked up when i started it after 8 hours it was difficult to start but when it did loads of white smoke and lumpy running so i stopped it got recovered back to ipswich got the head gasket replaced head was all checked and skimmed ive got the car back now still boiling coolant cant bleed the heater and occasionally white smoke (unburnt diesel) normally when i start it from warm but it clears after ten seconds or so and the car runs fine .

    any ideas ??

    Still sounds like head gasket or damaged head to me

    heads been pressure tested all the valves have been re ground and full de coke the oils clear of coolant it runs fine the smoke is unburnt fuel and i cant get the heater to bleed ive not had reliable heat since the egr cooler was changed

    I'd suspect that replacement egr cooler.
