Hi For no reason the driverside door mirror powerfold mechanism appears to have broken, motor runs but mirror does not move, the housing moves freely with no resistance,is this common? vehicle only just over three years old.Has not been hit or no collision damage. Is this a case of brand new unit or has someone repaired this fault. I tried to take a look but was not sure how to remove the cover.. I removed glass and mirror motor but still could not see any tabs or clips to release the cover...your help would be appreciated.
