    Default Fuel filter interval 177 tdi – 17-10-2017,11:36 AM
    I've a 14 passat 177 TDI and is covered 44k miles. I was looking through the service manual to see when the fuel filter required changing, but I didn't see anything.
    Can anyone tell me at what milage it needs to be changed?

    VW is very vague. Googling says every 2 years or 20-40K
    2013 B7 Passat BlueMotion Sport Estate 2.0 TDi 177PS (CFGC), 6 speed Manual, Metallic Night Blue, Fontana alloys, Start/Stop, RNS-510 (HW H09, SW 5238 V13 maps, 8316) Nav DAB, ACC, XDS, TPM, Westfalia Tow bar, Rear View camera, Keyless Entry, Easy Open/close Electric Tailgate, Park Assist, Electric Parking Brake, DRL's, Amb light, Zebrano wood, Tinted Glass, mud flaps, 61K. Cheat emission software. Nextbase 402G iN-CAR CAM.

    Thanks for the reply. Normally is in the service schedule book. VW must be trying to push people towards dealer servicing by not giving the relevent information.
    I think I'll replace the filter...

    Which prompts me to do mine now at 38k.

    I'll pick one up this morning myself. . They're easy to replace, 10 min job.
    Nice spec on your Passat. It's probably only lacking the kitchen sink lol
