Wiper has become gutless and noticed when i used the wash function water would enter the boot.

Guessing both related and motor had it.

Just ordered a valeo replacement unit along with a wiper puller.

Can anyone please shed some light on how i remove the inner trim ? I have removed all screws with no luck. It feels as though the trim is going to break

    Thank you

    sorry about that

I replaced mine earlier this year

theres no hidden screws just a case of pulling harder

presume you have removed the screws beneath the warning triangle

Quite often you cannot get the wiper arm off without it snapping, even with various different pullers as they just deform.

    Hope not

I have bought a wiper puller also, cant see it happening today due to the weather

Looks like a tomorrow job, like a clean rear window. Cant understand people of just leave things not working. I also envy them as i spend money sorting all the niggles out.

Well replaced motor which was fun, and even with a wiper puller buggered up the rear wiper arm!! Seized on there a treat.

What are my options for a replacement ? Aerotwin with the stubby arm any good ?

I have just replacd mine - the motor had become intermittent. As reported above the main issue was removing the wiper arm, I ended up cutting it off. But even with the arm on the bench, extracting the remains of the shaft was not possible without starting to damage the arm. I ended up having to drill it out (taking care not to ruin the splined seating). Replacement motor : ‘Vistapro’ from eurocarparts.
