No used the A4 since Friday, come out to it this morning and when i opened it up, the driver seat was all the way back (couldnt reach the peddles) and both wing mirrors were pointed down (the housings were fine, hadnt been knocked), but both mirrors were dipped, as though car was going to reverse. Car is secure and on a driveway, no ones been in it, just wondered if anyones ever had anything like this happen with their Audi??

    Strange...

Have you seen posts regarding water ingress on A4?
Water will play havoc with electrics, usually the pollen filter area is where it gets in.

Open the bonnet & clear out all the dead leaves, especially this time of year, water channels get blocked & it finds another place to go

    Hi,

Do you have memory seats or not?

For non memory seats, each seat has a control module in its base, the mirrors attach to the window control module in the door as does the control knob. if you have memory seats, there is a second control unit in the base of the drivers door and the memory buttons are wired back to the window control unit in the drivers door. this sends the signal to the seat control modules using the canbus.

check the door module to see if it is ok, also check the wiring between the A pillar and the door - this is known to suffer from breakages.

Scan the seat control modules - this might give you some clues.

    W.
