Are Febi lower control arms similar to the Lemforder arms for quality?

Febi are good but not quite as good as Lemforder and also TRW are excellent. Meyle make some seriously good heavy duty versions that outlast anything else. Febi do lovely kits and the price is good against the quality and I have no qualms using them, we fit a huge amount of their products and very very rarely get a problem.

How many km /miles you have on car? Is it first time that you are changing arms? I would prefer Lemforder (this is oem supplier). Anyhow, I suppose that in UK you can safely buy any part without fear that is fake, in my country is not the same case unfortunately...

I have done 159,000 miles, i'm changing the left hand side as my 4 wheel alignment sheets are showing the camber is nearly going out of tolerance on the left hand side.

I did have new upper arms fitted and they were on the car at the last alignment.

The readings show that the bushes have worn causing the inside of the tyre to have the limit of the camber at 1 degree and 31 minutes compared with last years aligment of 1 degree and 10 minutes (ideal seting would be 1 degree and 7 minutes for each side).

Do you have some play on the arms? Are they making noise on rough road?

How often do you make alignment?

I bought the car 2 years ago and I did not make any alignment until now. So far, the car is handling good and I do not hear any noise from suspensions. But these should not be the reason to check it, I suppose.

I had a lot of tyre wear on the inside of the tyre.

I did replace a worn track rod end and the C links were worn, this why I had the alignment redone.

Its not wheel bearing related as I have replaced all the wheel bearings on the car before the last wheel alignment.

As as the other side is ok it is not the subftrame bushes.

The tracking on on the front was spot on at 0 degrees an 10 minutes for both sides.
