    Hi all

My cabin heater comes on full heat when I start from cold (regardless of weather) (once the water temp rises of course). Then it goes to no heat at all in cabin once the engine is fully warmed up. Starting to be a problem now the days are getting colder.

Engine temp gauge sits on 90 nicely, no engine overheating problems.

Would this be the cabin heater thermostat, or stuck flaps or what? I think I detect a "clicking" behind the glovebox as the engine warms up.

The clicking could be a flap motor/linkage issue. A scan should show a fault if it is.

OK, I got a scan done and it has come up as "01272 Positioning Motor for Central Flap (v70). 41-10 - Blocked or No Voltage - Intermittent"

Presumably a servo motor has gone faulty - hence the clicking noises. Based on my symptoms, which one, what is the part number and how tricky is it to replace?

Well I took out the glovebox and had a look. Looked like the servo with the red arms wasn't moving properly and the floor flap control servo (the one with a black round linkage rather than arms) wasn't moving at all. Bought two old ones from Ebay and all is working well now. Wasn't difficult in the end.
