Hello everyone just wondering if anyone knows what tools I need to remove the front bumper on a 2011 Q5 2.0 tdi. I have a timing belt to change on Saturday on a mate's driveway. Don't need help with timing tools just the bumper tools.
    Thank you.

Well I can answer my own question now. No need to remove the front bumper. Timing belt can be replaced with bumper on and front panel in place. Just engine undertray and fan control unit needs moving out of the way.

Hi There, That's useful to know. I have the same to do in my garage and interested if it all went to plan? I assume you replaced the water pump at the same time?

Hi yep water pump as well and tensioner stud. Didn't change the roller stud at the bottom on the left as i didn't like the feel of it , was doing the job as a favour for a friend who's wife had just been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and he needed his q5 to be reliable for hospital trips ...to be honest there's not a lot of room. But it's manageable.
