The Air Bag light is permanently on- however sometimes the glow plug light comes on with the ESP light and car will not start. I turn the ignition off for about 10 minutes -turn it on and only the airbag lights comes on and car will start. Dealers have not been able to sort problem out even when the fault occurs whilst at garage- It a nuisance when I am mout and say parked and then the ESP light comes on and car will not start. All wiring check and no problems
I have the following info-where do I go next.

That is clearly a CAN BUS issue and the BUS is in the instruments so let me ponder and I will have a think when brain less foggy, have you had water in the car?

Hi Crusher thank you for your reply. Yes I did have water in the passenger well and everything was stripped out and dried-no corrosion by garage this month all wiring appears to be ok when tested. you can if you wish reply directly to michael.jones2004@blueyonder.co.uk. The car is to go into the Auto Electricians again on the 9th.

    Regards
    Michael

Did you get any signs of water on the drivers side or only the passengers?

I wanted to join the RAF 40 years ago and I was going through the motions for Cranwell but my colour vision turned out to be poor so I could not fly and they said I could be a mechanic, I said I was not going to be a grease monkey....look what happened!

Are you sorted now? I had similar problems a tear or so ago. Replaced the crash sensor, fault returned (airbag light). Passenger footwell had been wet due to leak through pollen filter. Sealed pollen filter housing, dried out footwell and ECU best I could and sent ECU and clock console to BBA Reman who sorted it all. No problems since.
