    Hi All

My 2014 A7 (I'm posting here as it's a similar model/drivetrain / spec etc) is coming out of warranty in October.

I got an email from Audi offering an Extended warranty and can get the "Named Component" option for just over £300.

That covers Engine, Drive-train, Gearbox, Brakes, Clutch, Electrics, Locking System, Heating/Cooling system.

What do you think? Worth it?

I'm thinking that's not too bad for a potential very expensive failure of gearbox / engine / drive train.

£300 is not bad for an extended warranty. Audi Parts are far from cheap(discs and pads all round is £1200) if anything goes wrong.
The real question is what will help you sleep at night. £300 is really an insurance policy for the major items.
Other things to remember is there will be terms and conditions like you will need it serviced at a dealership so restricts where you can go and get stuff done, even simple things.

From the Audi configurator app, its meant to be £560 to extent to 4y/75k miles and a whopping £1335 for 5y/90k miles. So at £300, go for it!
