Tune2air can't get it to work

Ok I have A6 C6 4F
And have put an 4E0035785F music interface in with a Tune2air but it's not showing up on the mmi it says the tine2air connected to my iPhone 6
Any help many thanks

When you press the media button do you have ami at the bottom of the list? If not then you will need vcds to activate the hidden green menu, in the hidden green menu you can activate the ami so the tune2air shows up, just retrofitted an ami myself with a tune2air and it works great

Yes I have AMI but it's greyed out saying ami not connected
Yes I have done the green menu
Setting to 7/8

I think it needs to be set to 5/8 not 7/8

I followed this from this site

6. Enable AMI (Audi Music Interface) on MMI 3G (after fitting the hardware)

[Select]
[Control Module 5F]
[Adaption - 10]
Channel 6
New Value = 1
Restart MMI (Hold in SETUP + Centre MMI Knob + Upper Right Inner Key]
Go into hidden menu, hold in CAR + SETUP ... WARNING DO NOT CHANGE ANY VALUES YOU DON'T KNOW OR ELSE BAD BAD THINGS MAY HAPPEN
Diagnosis -> Settings -> Audi Music Interface (AMI) set to 7/8
Press RETURN and come out of the hidden menu.
Restart MMI (Hold in SETUP + Centre MMI Knob + Upper Right Inner Key]
Press MEDIA, Source and test the AMI.

Mine is definitely set to 5/8, I'll get a pic for you later, go and quickly change it to 5/8 and see if it starts working for you

Just out of curiosity you have turned Bluetooth on your device? I think it shows no device connected until you are actually connected to the tune2air with your phone, what version mmi are you?
