58plate 2.7tdi Le Mans is crunching when changing down into 2nd gear. All other gearchanges seem fine which would indictate a synchro problem but could it be a clutch issue? Is a synchro repair a fortune on these cars?
Great car and don't mind paying for the repair but want to make sure what the fault is first if possible.

I would say synchro and if box is out for repair they will want to do the clutch as well, could be a very expensive job.
