A4 B7 new owner with a couple of questions.....

Greetings from a newcomer, not only to the forum but to the brand also. This is the first Audi I've owned and I'd like to canvas the collective wisdom on a couple of things if I may. I came to buy an Audi after I set off on holiday recently in my Toyota Avensis T180, and four and a half minutes into the journey two trucks wrote my car off. Needing a car quickly, a member of another forum I frequent advertised a B7 Avant S-Line, Multitronic/Tiptronic with 42,000 miles on. So a deal was done.

What I'd like to ask is : Are cradles still available for the 'infotainment' system to take an Iphone 6/6S ? The lad in the parts dept I visited the other day reckoned not, but he didn't inspire me with confidence to be honest.
And, mine is the 138 (140?) BHP model. Can this engine be re-mapped to provide extra power and torque, and if it can, would it affect the gearbox in any way? ie confuse it and alter the gear changing. Who in the North East is trusted to carry out such work, would it affect the reliability of the engine adversely ?

And finally, what are the known issues with this engine ?

I appreciate what I'm asking will probably have been covered before, and I apologise if any of it has been done to death already but you wouldn't flame a newbie.........would you ?

Yes they can be remapped to around 170bhp
the diesel engine suffers from oil pump balance shaft failing and can be a costly repair

My 2.0tdi 140bhp with the multitronic box has been running at 174bhp for years now with no problems
the oil pump on mine has been done aswel as a new turbo
