    Hello,

I need to change my front driver side door on a Touran 2011 as the shell weld at the bottom split.
Looking at online vagparts, I found 1T0831056AB being the correct part used on models 2011-2016 but it also shows 1T0831056AA with 'Cancelled since 1.11.2010' but shows for models 2003-2016.

Could somebody confirm if the older door shell pre 2010 can be used on a 2011?
Or what are the exact differences between shells?

    Thanks a lot

    Hi there!

There is no real difference between these Touran doors. You can exchange them. AA and AB at the end of the part number simply indicates that AA door was installed in the older Touran model while AB door was installed in the model after facelift in 2010, but they can be exchanged.
