Cars been out over 2 years now, so not really that new. These all sound like electrical gremlins, I think your right to be concerned. Something not right somewhere!

Yeah next time it happens I will film the camera issue and send over to them. On a positive the SOS warning issue seems to be resolved which was the biggest thing due its annoyance (binging every 30 seconds - drove me mad!)

Can someone please do me a huge favour and let me know where the light/ bulb is for the door pocket light? If you can a photo would be awesome. I think its not installed in mine and I rather research than leave it to dealer. Many many thanks in advance.

To be honest my Q7 and SQ7 have had intermittent camera screen blank
the old Q7 often happen and the SQ7 has happen 3 times now most recent funny enough yesterday

trouble is like all the last car faults as there intermittent the fault was never there when the car went in

but as both my Qs had this fault other must too

the present SQ7 has happen 3 times since April first time the second day I had it not sure the next and last time yesterday
so please let me know if you find anything

There is new software for the camera system but unless a bulletin exists linked to it the audi dealer won't know about it nor can install it. I don't even know what it fixes (if anything) all I know is it exists.

Time will tell.

im surprised not more people have had this fault

only happen odd times you go to select reverse the MMI screen changes to camera view but it’s like some one has put tape over the camera lens

if you then select forward nothing changes still blank regardless of what you do
you either have to do the 3 finger or reset in the MMI or just turn ignition off and back on again and all is fine

ive not taken car in as I know the answer and what they will say and up until yesterday it had only happen twice in 5 months

but will keep a look out

if you hear more or find some thing to quote please kindly shout?

Thanks Andy. Then I don't have it. There is an slight indent rectangle one, but no hole and no light on any 4 doors. Hmmm not sure how big a job will be, do I am all 4 doors being taken apart?...

I thought it was just a standard option. If you have the indent then it should be there... You have the colour ambient lighting pack??
