2012 A6 with MMI 3G that I have never used the voice guidance when using the sat nav until now.
She has a stutter/speech impediment and starts by telling you to take the, as you're approaching it, second exit on the roundabout but this leaves you little or no time take the exit. Driving through France we had a few occasions where the main roads split to go to different places and by the time she's told you where you want to go, it's almost too late.
Anyone else had this problem? Still in Spain at the moment, so not had a chance to take it to my local Audi garage but would rather have an idea of the issue from the experts on here, than the usual garbage I get from them

Think this is down to a firmware issue, best get the MMI system updated.

I’ve noticed in the UK that my A6 can’t pronounce the letter A as in hay for roads with a number greater than 1000. I drive on the A46 regularly and she says that perfectly, but when I get on the A1234, it’s the a1234 (a as in cat). Quite bizarre. Has anyone else noticed this?

My 2014 was better on the pronounciations than the 2017.....close to us is a town that has two names. German in Erftstadt and in French (used to be french a long time ago, like Cologne) its Lechenich. For some reason she says it as "Leckenick"...... she cant even pronounce Cologne let alone Köln as she says "Koelln"....

    Harwich becomes "Haarwich"

I've noticed that she insists on saying "thugh" instead of "thee" before "A" and "M" (as in "em"). Distinctly "urban" if you ask me. Man's not a roadman ya know.

Car went to local dealership today.....they said that due to my alarm chirping when it locks that i must have some "illegal" software on the car!! We later, eventually, managed to clarify the term "illegal". Apparently the car is now not the same as it was when it left the factory, therefore they won't look at it!
After a few phone calls to other garages I have managed to speak to an incredibly helpful gentleman from another Audi garage who is quite happy to take a look at the car.....why is nothing ever simple?
