Hi Folks

I'm hoping some kind person out there can give me some direction.......

The car is a 2003, 53 plate A6 2.5TDi Avant quattro.

I have the following fault coming up on my VCDS scan along with the flashing glow plug coil symbol:

01441 - Low Fuel Level Sensor (G210)
27-10 Implausible Signal - Intermittent

The car runs perfectly with no stutter, loss of power or refusal to start. Also, all gauges work correctly, brake lights are fine (but brake light switch replaced at weekend just in case).

From reading around the forum & the net in general, I believe there are 3 different access points to wiring connections for the fuel tank. One behind the back seat (in the boot) & two under back seat base cushion. Is this correct? Should I lift everything, open up the cover plates & check & clean the wiring/connections first? After that, where should I go....? Is there a sensor of some kind in each of the 3 access points & are they easily replaced?

All help & pointers greatly received!
