Problem with phone contacts picture in instrument cluster

Has anybody else experienced an issue with the contacts photo appearing all noisy and broken up? Happens with my iPhone and work window a phone. I also connected my iPhone to another q7 in the show room and I saw the same problem. Will a software fix sort this? If so do you know if there's one out yet?

I've attached a pic to show you what I mean. I have the analogue (non virtual dashboard) dashboard on a 2015 new q7.

Not seen that problem myself but I'll have a look tonight (the missus has taken the car today... grrrr).

I have the Virtual Cockpit but I'm guessing the same rules apply especially if you have tried it in another Q7. Was the other Q7 you tried it did it have a Virtual Cockpit or same dash as you have?

I don't own an iPhone, only Android (Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+) but I'll try it.

I assume the contact picture on the iphone is fine... obviously...

Can you take a pic of your software version on your MMI? See if its similar/older/newer?

Does the contact picture appear on the main MMI screen ok?

I will check later but I've never seen any contact pictures either in the MMI or VC (VC however I hardly ever have on the phone option)

Ok, I know mine is 0358 too

I'll try when I get home and see what happens, but as I say, I don't have a fruit flavoured device sadly but I'll try on my phone regardless.

I think if you have the smartphone interface with Andriod Auto or Apple CarPlay it will show the photo. But I'm not 100% sure I've seen some you tube videos that show this in a Q7

I don't have the pictures come up...for me in the VC and MMI it's just a pic of a mobile phone in the right hand corner - the contact does have a picture assigned

Software version is identical to Andy's pic above
