If the coil light came on there must be fault codes, what are you checking the memory with?

Forgot to say, I done about 50 miles in it today and it feels like its driving fine again, obviouly there is something intermittent wrong with it....

I noticed it returning around 50 MPG but on the same run before it usually returned over 60 or close to it (I wasnt driving it hard either)

old thread I know, but this is a load of a rubbish.. fair enough if the car is new, my passat has done 116k miles fully standard (EGR & DPF) and the tailpipes are black as can be (inner anyway, i clean the outters)

Don’t spare my feelings will you, just wade in there throwing punches, we’ll this is what I think

How many DPF equipped VAG products did you service this week and stick your finger up the tailpipes and sniff the exhaust of with it six foot up in the air? Personally (with two mechanics off) this week I did two a day so maybe I have a smidgein more experience than your good self! By the way, those nine cars and one T5 all had spotlessly clean tailpipe internals although the Sharan 2 and one of the Audi A6’s were EU6 Add Blue models so you would expect it. Two fingers sir!
