    Hey guys, any of you guys running any ECU software tunes? Not hardware boxes.

    I am coming from American brands (APR, JHM, etc) and none of them make software tunes for my engine (3.0 Bi TDI)

    It seems there are only a few options on the market....ABT, MTM, and Revo....Am I missing one? Which is the most popular one?

    60 views but no replies?

    Anyway, looks like I am down to 4 main top brands;

    MTM - most aggressive, 2nd most expensive (1400 euro, neighboring country)
    APR - love American brands, second most aggressive (900 euro, 2 countries over)
    ABT - 3rd most aggressive, almost OEM brand but most expensive (3000 euro, neighboring country)
    Revo - least aggressive which is good if you want to play it safe (400 euro, local tuner in my city)

    MTM performance upgrade AUDI A7 3,0 BiTDI 381 hp (280 kW) - Audi A7 Sportback (3,0 BiTDI 230kW (313hp) quattro)

    APR TDI ECU Upgrades

    REVO Stage 1 Software for a AUDI A7 3.0 Bi Tdi | Revo Technik

    With the exception of ABT, all of the above are OBI2 flashes (I don't like installed "tuner" boxes so ABT is out of the question).

    FYI, both the Revo and the APR tunes completely remove the factory 250km/h speed limit, while the MTM and ABT tunes weirdly just increase it to ~265km/h.....

    Go with the Revo. I ran one on my A7 when I had it. Revo agents will remove and reinstall software free of charge when car goes for service.
