Hi all, first post here. I recently bought a 2009 1.4 TSI as a family hatch, this is my 6th VAG car (previously a mix of golfs and TTs over the years).

One thing all of my previous cars have had in common is that when you unlock it, all the doors unlock.
I understand that to achieve that with this car I have to double press the unlock button.
However - that pretty much never unlocks all the doors, my passengers just stand there trying the door handle and after several more presses it'll open.
    This happens with both keys.

I would simply love to just have a simple one-press unlock all, however I don't have the type of dash display where I can enter menus to change this setting.
Will it be a VCDS job? - If so, would anyone with the necessary gear in the Hampshire area be able to help me out in exchange for some beer tokens?

Thx in advance - it's driving me nuts.

I think you can do this in the dash menu but if not, then VCDS or similar.

    Welcome to the forum.

It depends which Dash you have fitted, HighLine, MedLine or LowLine. I have HighLine and I can change that setting in the MFD settings. Or you need to find someone with VAG-COM\VCDS to change it.

As a new user I would put your car spec in you signature as regular users do. Its save added it to every post you make.
