Hi guys & gals, I want to replace my front shock absorbers I have tried ebay & all of our site sponsors. I have a 95 audi 80 avant B4 1.9TDI 1z
I can source the inners/cartridges but I want the complete units, standard height not lowered.
    I`ve also tried TPS,GSF,Europarts
Larkspeed were very helpful but couLd only supply a lowered kit. Thanks in advance.

You can't buy complete units, they were never available that way even genuine Audi when brand new. You can still get the "suspension strut pipe" as they call it but they are £218 and don't come with the damper. I get the damper part number you need as being 8A0 413 503 K and these are still available from Audi for £127.43 inc VAT each but I would use a Boge 32-472-0, Sachs 170 268 or TRW JHC170

Much appreciated, I`ll investigate this. I was looking as original is corroded and `95 is the latest year for this model so scrappys are the same age, I know the 1Z engine was used in the A4 would any B4 avant suspension unit suit?
just picking your brain, many thanks.

Get them powder coated, should cost about £20 a leg.
