    Hi All,

The car has developed a vibration along with a "flapping" sound at motorway speeds noticeable at 60mph+, neither sound or vibration increase with speed but this is becoming uncomfortable. the vibration is through the car and nothing through the steering so i'm particularly confused,

Tires seem ok and I've discounted a damaged alloy as the issue doesn't increase with speed, underside car panels are all in place and secure, mileage currently 51k

    any thoughts welcomed

Possibly exhaust system under strain.or weak mounts.
Any problem evident when revved in stationary position.

No haven't been right under the car, I tapped each of the main undertray panels from the side, and they seemed solid and nothing hanging loose, I will have to jack it up

It could be a screw has come out of one of the trays and it seems ok when looking but vibrates with 60mph wind passing over. The fact that frequency of vibration does not change makes me think one of the trays rather than wheel or engine related
