3.0 quattro starting issues

So, the guy called me this afternoon. I actually thought he'd forgotten about me as he rang just after 4pm. The car was replicating all of the symptoms that it was doing for me which was good . He pretty much puts it down to the ECU been at fault and is sending it away tomorrow to be tested/fixed

Just been in now to drop the ecu cage off and as of yet he hasn't heard back

After 16 days of not having the car and not hearing from them since I called last week I gave them a ring this morning.

Can't remember if I mentioned but the original issue was the ECU was sent to the opposite end of the country.

Now it has come back with no faults found. But apparently the company are also sending out a blank ECU of which they are going to code to my car and that should hopefully work.

If that doesn't fix the problem what the heck could it be

Pathetic, I bought tyres online once, they came from Bradford to Scotland via Northern Ireland
How can they get it so wrong?
