    Hi,

Just as the description says, sometimes when the engine is cold it stalls when I try to pull away. I've got the S-Tronic gearbox so it's impossible for me to stall it myself.

Has anyone else experienced this at all?

It's probably the stop start running.
Takes a bit getting used to. The fl has overly aggressive stop start compared to previous ones.

Stick it in S and see if it does it. My Bitdi does it as I reach the end of my street on the morning when cold in I'm in D, even if I didn't come to a complete stop but coast to the junction to see if it's clear. Next thing I notice the engine is off and it restarts as I accelerate trying to pull out.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion chaps but it's not start stop. It won't go again if I press the accelerator. I have to move the selector to park and restart the car with the start button to get it to go again. It's definitely stalled rather than start stop.

Not much help but I would just book it into the dealer to see if they can find a fault.

Agree with scottk take it to dealer and let them sort it.
It could be something simple like a sensor somewhere. I.e if you unclip seatbelt it won't restart automatically then there's a whole raft of other parameters that needs to be met before restart.

Agreed. I will get it booked in. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does it's annoying. Thanks for your replies everyone.
