Hi. I have a VW Polo 9n 2003, central locking, two electric windows and I installed a remote central locking with alarm. I wired up the lock - unlock wires to CCM, pin 6, the unlock wire with a 220 ohm resistor and works fine. The alarm module has two wires, door trigger negative and door trigger positive. I tied the negative door trigger wire to the Power supply control unit, plug XS4, pin 6 (front left door switch input). When I disarm the car and I do not open any door, the alarm module rearms the car after 30 seconds. If I disarm the car and open the front left door the alarm module notice this and do not rearms the car. I found the other doors switch input in the plug XS4 (pin3 rear right door, pin4 front right door, pin13 rear left door), I tried each pin separately with the negative door trigger wire and it did not work, the alarm module rearmed the car after 30 seconds. I measured the voltage on the pins, pin6 had 7.5 volts, pin3, 4, 13 had 4.5 volts. Where did I go wrong?

My problem is when I unlock the car with remote, and open the passenger door, or any rear door, the alarm does not recognize this. Because i don't know how to connect these doors to alarm unit.

You don't want to connect your alarm trigger wire to the door switch input. Each door has it's own input to the module so you would need to link all the inputs together via diodes to use the door switch inputs.

Rather than do that, what I would suggest is you use the interior lamp output from the module. The interior lamp output is switched to ground when any of the doors is open, so the alarm will be triggered by any door without having to link all the inputs. I think the interior lamp output is on connector XP4 pin one.

    Regards.
    Jim.

I tried to connect the trigger wire to interior lamp output (XP4, pin1). When I disarm the car, the interior lamp turn on instantly, I don't need to open the door. And the alarm module do not rearm after 30 seconds, it does not matter if any door is open or closed.

On some cars the interior light will switch on when the doors unlock without a door being open. If you unlock the doors using the key, does the interior light switch on?

Sorry, I not familiar with the alarm system your installing and I don't have a car here so I don't think I'll be able to help any further.

Yes, if I unlock the door using the key, the interior light switch on. I have a diagram of the alarm system.

The interior light switching on when you disarm the alarm is OK then. My guess is it's coming on because the alarm has unlocked the doors, and nothing to do with the trigger wire being connected to it.

Close all the doors, switch the alarm on and let it set (usually takes 30 seconds). Now unlock the doors with the key. When the interior light switches on the alarm should sound. If it does, that suggests your alarm is working properly.
