I've just taken delivery of my shiny new A6 S Line Quattro and love everything about it except 1 thing...... The SAT NAV

Went on a long journey over the weekend and set the Sat Nav for our destination.........

found everything ok and off we set.......

Not 2 minutes into the journey a window pop up covering nearly half of the screen showing roundabouts along the route.......

Some of these one out of town were over 25 miles away!

The little screen on the right showing direction and range of map is fine, but how the hell do i get rid of this other window?

Its so bad, that i turned it off as its pointless having it on as you cant see the map behind both windows

This (hopefully) points to a picture of what i'm babbling on about

I think, you are talking about the "additional information" option. Simply select the options in the NAV menü, and disable this feature. Also, it worth to check all the settings, as you can customise a lots of things there.

If you do decide to keep any notifications on, it took me a couple of trips to realise the upcoming events read bottom to top, rather than top to bottom.

It's not a good system (basic). It doesn't route very well around jams and I use my google maps in my phone and this does a better job. The tech pack with google maps is far superior, even the basic maps on the Mrs Mini Clubman is better than the Audi but I suppose that's the BMW system that is unfortunately betters than Audi's.
