    Hello

I wonder if you guys could help me. I own a 2005(55) Allroad C5. Being the last of the C5 models it comes with all the toys. Specifically it comes loaded with RNS-E sat nav unit (Part No: 4B0 035 192 P) and the analogue TV unit (Part No: 4D0 919 146 D).

I am looking to replace the now redundant analogue TV unit with a digital upgrade. I know it will not be a simple plug and play swap as I was hoping just to plug in the digital TV module from an A3 into my car but I assume there would be compatibility issues with the equipment.

I was looking at the Audi A3/TT which have the RNS-E unit and available digital TV receivers.

As I have all of the wiring in place for the RNS-E and TV unit, would it be possible to simply fit the updated RNS-E unit (Part No: 8P0 035 192 S) and digital TV modules (Part No: 8J0 919 148 C) from the A3/TT into my car? VAGCOM is already coded for the RNS-E and TV module.

Any advice or guidance would be appreciated.

    Many thanks

I-m no expert with RNS-E, but probably you would only need to replace the TV tuner box.

I was hoping that would be the simplest and cheapest solution but thought I would take advice from Audi enthusiasts before committing to buy the digital TVs tuner.
