I was hoping that someone would be able to give me a quick walk through of how to adjust the timing on my 2007 audio A3 quarto.

After a quick scan done by a friend with vagcom, I got the attached results.

From what I have read, the Torsion Value should be a lot closer to 0, whereas mine is 3.72.

I know that an adjustment needs done in the engine, but would like a bit of guidance if possible.

    Thanks

Lock the crank with the locking plate and then try and fit the cam pulley pins, adjust the pulleys after slackening the 13mm bolts using an18mm spanner on the centre bolt to tweak the cam hub without moving the belt.

    Thanks for the reply.

Which cam hub is the one needing adjusted? Front or rear?

Technically speaking, both. The G40 sensor is on the inlet cam and you could tweak that to shut the warning up but if the exhaust cam is out, there is no point leaving it like that.
